Our services range from preventative and emergency care to full reconstruction. If restoration is needed, we offer a wide range of cosmetic options. Mondale Dental stopped placing amalgam fillings, "silver fillings", over twelve years ago. Instead, we use composite fillings that require less tooth structure removal, bond and add strength to teeth, and look great. By using the most up to date detection and resin bonding techniques, we can catch cavities in their earliest stages and save more of the tooth for longer lasting restorations that are less visible. For more substantial reconstruction, options include veneers, crowns, onlays, inlays and fixed and removable partial or full dentures. For implant work, we team with specialists to provide implant-supported crowns, bridges and dentures. We also offer teeth whitening, root canal therapy, and periodontal maintenance.

Dr. Roger Mondale was trained at the University of Minnesota Dental School. After graduation he instructed part time at the Dental School for ten years, obtaining the rank of assistant professor. He opened his own dental practice in downtown Minneapolis in 1971. In 1999, he moved the practice to the new facility in Minnetonka. Other than his passion for dentistry he enjoys photography, windsurfing, sailing, tennis, biking, and canoeing, skiing and occasionally winter camping.
Dr. Brian Mondale
Dr. Brian Mondale received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota. As a graduate of Wayzata High School, Brian enjoys working in the community where he grew up. He is focused on building long term professional relationships with his patients, working with them to achieve and maintain healthy great-looking teeth and gums that will provide for a lifetime of beautiful smiles. In addition to dentistry, he enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, and windsurfing.

For those that are nervous about seeing the dentist this is the dentist you have been looking for. Dr. Roger Mondale lightens the load with a joke or two. With an explanation of what he is going to do along with a steady hand Dr. Mondale, I feel, is the dentist for anyone anxious about having their choppers worked on correctly. He even, personally, follows up with a phone call the next day to ascertain your condition.
